Text alert script

Blue Binder texts staff only after they agree out loud. An administrator reads the script below in person or by phone. The staff member must say yes. If they do not agree, the number is not saved and no text is sent.

The administrator reads:

Blue Binder can text this mobile number when a guest sends an in-house note, places a supply order, or includes a note at check-in. Message frequency varies with guest activity. Message and data rates may apply. You do not have to agree in order to work your shifts or for a guest to use the guide. You can ask us to stop at any time, or reply STOP to a text. Reply HELP for help. Do you agree to receive these texts?

After a yes, the administrator saves that mobile number in Blue Binder and turns on only the alert types the person agreed to: Guest notes, Orders, and Check-in notes. To stop later, the person can reply STOP or tell an administrator, who removes the number.
